Michael Campbell-Burns
Mike originally hails from the Gold Coast, Australia but now calls Vancouver, Canada home. He has an extensive background in Triathlon, Running and Ultra-Marathons as a competitor, event coordinator and coach. After his arrival in British Columbia, he has thrown himself into Adventure Racing, Mountain Biking and Snow Shoe Racing.
Mike is an integral part of the organizing committee of the “New Balance Fall Classic”, one of Vancouver’s premier annual distance events. His enthusiasm, passion and knowledge have helped many athletes achieve their personal goals in their chosen events and Mike has coached marathon teams which have competed in Vancouver, Chicago, Boston, Las Vegas, Sacramento, Seattle, New York and Portland.
Mike's previous role was the head of coaching staff of “Rackets & Runners” a Vancouver running and speciality sports group
When competing Mike was a consistent top ten finisher in Competitive Age Group Triathlons and he was part of the Silver Medal winning team in the triathlon at the World Masters Games on the Gold Coast in 1994. “The Crazy Aussie” credits his most interesting race as the US National Snowshoe Racing Finals in Anchorage, Alaska when he represented Team Yeti Canada.
Michael has previously been a contributor to "Impact Magazine".
