Since 1966 Sport BC has been a leader, advocating for amateur sport and fostering the growth of organized sport in British Columbia. Sport BC exists to promote the power of sport and increase the positive impact that sport has on communities and on our individual lives.

As the provincial federation for sport, Sport BC represents more than 80 member organizations including 64 provincial sport organizations. Through the dedication and hard work of its members, Sport BC serves approximately 1.79 million sport participants in BC.

The British Columbia Soccer Association is recognized by the Canadian Soccer Association and the Provincial Government of British Columbia as the governing body of all soccer in the province.

Our membership consists of over 90 Senior Leagues and Youth Districts, and over 130,000 registered players. Our players, teams, clubs, leagues and districts are all affiliated through our association and the Canadian Soccer Association with CONCACAF and FIFA.
